Red Harring 100 Europe Award 2009

Red Herring has started the submissions process for the Red Herring 100 Europe 2009 Award and it is open until January 31.

For 10 years, Red Herring's editorial team has diligently surveyed entrepreneurship around the globe. Technology industry executives, investors, and observers have regarded the Red Herring 100 lists as an invaluable instrument to discover and advocate the promising startups that will lead the next wave of disruption and innovation.

Applicants must be:

- A technology company
- Headquartered in the specific geographical region of the corresponding Red Herring 100 award program
- Privately held and not listed on any exchanges anywhere in the world
- Not a previous winner of a Red Herring 100 regional award – with the exception of Global where the applicant must 
  be a previously selected regional winner or finalist.
